As many as seven people were killed in China on the night of the Lunar New Year earlier this week after a man set fire to his brother's house, while another stabbed eight people to death, authorities said. The two incidents took place in the Chinese cities of Baoji and Baiyin. Seven other people were injured in the knife attack.
