As many as 16.5 lakh bottles of liquor were sold by all entities, including liquor shops, restobars and clubs in Delhi on December 31, a Delhi government official said. The official added that the total excise collection by government on December 31 was ₹16.4 crore. Around 509 people were caught drunk driving on New Year's Eve in Delhi.
