A 16-year-old boy allegedly raped a 58-year-old woman and murdered her by gagging and hitting her with sickle in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district. Police suspect that the boy committed the crime to avenge humiliation he felt after the woman's family had accused him of mobile phone theft two years ago. The victim's husband and son were out of station.
