An 18-year-old man was killed and 80 others were injured during the Jallikattu competition in the Avaniyapuram area of Tamil Nadu's Madurai on Friday, a health official said. Police said the deceased was gored in the chest by a bull. According to the health official, the injured persons include 38 bull tamers, 24 bull owners and 18 spectators.
