Farmers began protests on Thursday at Delhi's Jantar Mantar against the three farm laws that were passed by the Centre last year. The Delhi government allowed farmers to hold the demonstration till August 9 on the condition that only 200 protestors will be present. This is the first time since the January 26 violence that farmers were given permission.
