Thousands of protesters gathered at the Town Hall in Bengaluru to protest against the amendments to the Land Reforms and the APMC Acts. The police detained about 300 people for blocking roads. According to the police, areas surrounding Town Hall, Freedom Park, Mysore Bank Circle, Sumanahalli, Magadi Road, KR Puram were affected as the protests caused bottlenecks for vehicle movement.
