Karnataka Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre clarified that the recent death of 31 blackbucks at Belagavi's Rani Channamma Mini Zoo was caused by Hemorrhagic Septicaemia, a highly fatal disease, and not staff negligence. Out of 38 blackbucks, 31 died, and the remaining seven are quarantined. The Forest Department has issued biosecurity protocols statewide.
