The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized over 34,000 pieces of jewellery worth ₹85 crore from Mehul Choksi-owned Gitanjali Group. The agency said that the jewellery was "brought from Dubai" and has been seized under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Earlier, ED revealed that assets worth ₹7,664 crore were attached in the case against Choksi and Nirav Modi.
