After four nuns who protested against rape-accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal were asked to leave Kuravilangad convent, the nuns wrote to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan asking him to intervene in the matter. Stating that Mulakkal is very powerful and the transfer is to pressurise and threaten them, the nuns urged Vijayan to ensure they are not transferred from the convent.
