Forty-six people, including military personnel and civilians, were killed when a Sudanese army plane crashed in a residential area near the military air base in Omdurman, a report said. The crash took place late on Tuesday near Wadi Sayidna military airport, likely due to technical failure. Among those killed was Major General Bahr, the former military commander for Khartoum.
