At least five people have been killed and around 20 others are feared trapped following a gas explosion in an abandoned coal mine owned by India-born Gupta brothers in South Africa. Some people had gone into the mine to steal copper wires when a gas pipe exploded. The mine was shut down after corruption allegations were levelled against the Guptas.
