As of July 21, 57.4 lakh people have been vaccinated in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and rural areas. As many as 43.73 lakh people have been administered the first dose while 13.31 lakh people have been given both doses. According to the 2011 census, the population of Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and rural areas is 94.26 lakh, the district administration said.
