A total of 600 polling booths for Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka will be managed by women personnel, an election official said on Monday. The polling booths will be set up "as part of ensuring gender equality and constructive participation of women in electoral process". The Election Commission is also planning to set up such booths in Delhi.
