A 64-year-old man named Surappa Raju was arrested by Hyderabad police for trying to force a 23-year-old married woman, whom he had paid ₹5 lakh to be a surrogate mother, to have sex with him. Raju tried to persuade her to live with him, and later he started making calls to her and began using foul language, the police said.
