Telecom regulator TRAI's Chairman RS Sharma has said 9 crore of the 17 crore homes with television have made channel preferences under the new tariff regime. "The speed [of onboarding] has increased... we expect the rest... to register their choice of channels soon," he added. TRAI is constantly monitoring the situation to ensure consumers don't face inconvenience, he further said.
