Kerala's 90-year-old Narayanan Nambiar met his 86-year-old wife Sarada, after 72 years of being separated from each other. Married in 1946, they got separated after Narayanan was put in jail for participating in the Kavumbai farmers rebellion. Narayanan and Sarada met again after their relatives decided to set up a meeting for the two.
