The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is planning to monetise 759 acres of land near eight major airports to let private companies establish warehouses, hotels and restaurants. Officials said the non-traffic revenue generated from the land monetisation will be used for developing airport infrastructure in under-served areas. The land parcels may be leased to companies for 25-30 years, they added.
