Air pollution may age the brain by 10 Years, study reveals

Long-term exposure to air pollution may weaken memory and cognitive abilities, according to a new study. Researchers at US institutions UC Davis Health and Kaiser Permanente, found that people living in highly polluted areas for nearly two decades performed worse on memory tests, with effects comparable to about 10 years of natural brain aging. Semantic memory appeared particularly affected.
