Andhra Pradesh has modernised its 108 ambulance network with GPS tracking, real-time traffic routing and digitised patient records. The upgraded service handled over 7.7 lakh emergency calls in a year, providing rapid response for accident victims, cardiac emergencies, pregnant women and critically ill patients across urban and rural areas.
