New models of Apple's iPhones featuring 5G network connectivity may reportedly get delayed due to the ongoing patent disputes with chipmaker Qualcomm. Since 2016, Apple had started leveraging its network chips from Intel, whose 5G chips are expected to not be released until 2020. Apple recently alleged that Qualcomm had refused to provide chips for 2018 iPhones.
