A 74-year-old auto-rickshaw driver, Deshraj, has received ₹24 lakh in donation after he sold his house and started living in his auto to fund his granddaughter's education. While the target of crowdfunding initiative was to raise a sum of ₹20 lakh, donors exceeded it. A video of him receiving the cheque has also surfaced.
