Viresh Joshi, a former fund manager at Axis Mutual Fund, has filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination in connection with a suspected front-running case and demanded ₹54 crore in damages from the firm. Assistant fund manager Deepak Agarwal is also being probed in the same case. Joshi had also sent a legal notice to Axis MF on May 20.
