A federal law prohibiting marijuana users from owning guns is unconstitutional, US District Judge Patrick Wyrick said on Friday while dismissing an indictment against a man who was accused of violating the ban. "The mere use of marijuana carries none of the characteristics that the nation's history and tradition of firearms regulation supports," the judge said.
