Elon Musk-led electric carmaker Tesla has said the Shanghai parked Model S car explosion in April was due to a single battery module and isn't a system defect. Tesla has revised its software update to change battery charge and thermal management settings. The update was first announced in May after an investigation into another Hong Kong fire incident.
