Bengaluru may get e-vehicle charging pods across 10 metro stops

Karnataka 2019 Budget has proposed charging stations for Electric Vehicles (EV) across 10 metro stations in Bengaluru, as part of the state government’s comprehensive mobility scheme. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has been allocated ₹50 crore to implement the scheme. The state had announced five-year 'Karnataka Electric Vehicle & Energy Storage Policy' in September 2017.
