As many as 5,493 coronavirus cases were reported in last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,64,626. This is the fourth straight day that Maharashtra witnessed a biggest single-day rise in coronavirus cases. The death toll in the state has surged to 7,429. A total of 86,575 coronavirus patients have made recovery in Maharashtra.
