Bihar government on Wednesday announced that students from Class 1 to 9 and 11 will be promoted to the next grade amid the lockdown following the coronavirus pandemic. Many other states including UP, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh had earlier decided to promote students to the next grade without examinations. As per the official data, Bihar has recorded 38 COVID-19 cases so far.
