Bishop Franco Mulakkal was on Friday night admitted to a government hospital following complaints of chest pain, hours after he was arrested by the Kerala Police in connection with the rape case filed by a nun. He was kept under observation and discharged on Saturday morning. Mulakkal has been relieved of his pastoral responsibilities by Pope Francis.
