Amid speculation over a leadership change in Karnataka, BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje called Chief Minister Siddaramaiah an "old tiger" (seasoned politician) whose moves are unpredictable. She also said that the issue was Congress' internal matter but criticised the ruling party for focusing on power struggles instead of governance despite securing a strong mandate in 2023 Assembly polls.
