Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has said that the BJP-led alliance will return to power in the state with an enhanced mandate. The three-phase polling, which concluded on April 6, was by and large peaceful and it reflected that Assam government was successful in restoring peace in the state after decades of insurgency and violence, Sonowal added.
