A team of scientists in Canada has developed a blood test that can detect cancer at its earliest stages by combining liquid biopsy with artificial intelligence. It applied machine learning to identify the presence and type of cancer-derived DNA within blood samples. The team said it has successfully matched over 700 tumours and blood samples from different cancer types.
