Bombay High Court has stayed the sale of 20,000 cows bred in military farms, which provide milk and milk products to military troops. The petitioner said while over ₹1,000 crore has been spent since 1982 to develop Frieswal breed cows, they're being sold for ₹1,000 instead of ₹40,000. The Centre is shutting down the farms without valid reasons, he alleged.
