British-Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed has become the first Muslim to win an Oscar for Aneil Karia's live-action short film 'The Long Goodbye'. Riz also co-wrote the film with Aneil. The actor said in his acceptance speech, "In such divided times, we believe that the role of story is to remind us there is no 'us' and 'them'. There's just 'us'."
