After IAS topper Shah Faesal announced his resignation from civil services, former J&K CM Omar Abdullah tweeted, "The bureaucracy's loss is politics' gain. Welcome to the fold". Abdullah later clarified he was welcoming Faesal to politics and his future plans are his to announce. Reports had said that Faesal will join National Conference and contest Lok Sabha elections from Baramulla.
