ByteDance has agreed to sell TikTok's US operations to avoid a ban in the country, Reuters reported. Under ByteDance's new proposed deal, Microsoft would take over TikTok in the US and it'll be in charge of protecting all US user data, the report added. This comes after US President Donald Trump said that he'll ban TikTok.
