Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid on Tuesday criticised the central government over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, saying, "When you have a brute majority, you can pass anything." He added that there should be a uniform law for people seeking citizenship of India. The bill seeks to grant citizenship to certain minority community refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
