Ahead of the general elections in Pakistan, a candidate from cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's party PTI has been killed in a suicide attack that wounded four others. Earlier, Pakistan's National Counter Terrorism Authority had warned of serious security threats to political leaders of all major parties, saying that terrorists could use suicide bombers to target politicians.
