State-run telecom firm MTNL has approached the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) reportedly seeking claims of about ₹500 crore. The claims have been made under multiple heads including rendering of communications services and reimbursement of employees-related payments, reports added. The cash-strapped company has raised claims dating back to the year 2000-01 onwards, reports further said.
