Chennai man plants 10,000 sq ft forest at his home in over 35 yrs

Jaswant Singh, a 58-year-old engineer, has planted a forest at his home in Chennai spanning across 10,000 square feet. The forest also houses 350 rare species, which Singh collected from across India in over three decades. The dangers of pollution started to come to fore in the 1980s and that prompted him to pay more attention towards trees, Singh said.
