China's biggest SUV maker Great Wall Motors has agreed to buy General Motors' (GM) car plant in Talegaon near Pune for a reported ₹2,100 crore. GM already sold its other plant in Gujarat's Halol to China's SAIC, where it builds cars under its British brand, MG Motor. Great Wall plans to enter India with its Haval and electric vehicle brands.
