Chinese vase found in shoebox auctioned for over ₹128 crore

An 18th century Chinese vase found in a shoebox in an attic in France has been auctioned for €16.2 million (over ₹128 crore) by Sotheby's. The bulb-shaped vase, which was expected to fetch between €500,000 and €700,000, was made for an emperor of the Qing dynasty. Earlier this year, a Qing dynasty bowl was auctioned for ₹198 crore.
