Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has dropped its plans to launch a new digital asset lending product, Lend, after the US SEC had threatened to sue it. It has also discontinued the waitlist for its USDC APY (annual percentage yield) programme. The SEC had earlier issued subpoenas to Coinbase seeking more information on the product.
