The Supreme Court has directed the government to make coronavirus testing free of cost in both government and private laboratories. It added that tests relating to coronavirus must be carried out in NABL-accredited labs or any agencies approved by WHO or ICMR. This comes after an advocate filed a plea stating private labs were charging around ₹4,500 for such tests.
