A couple in Telangana's Vikarabad got married in a hospital where they were admitted following a suicide attempt after their parents objected to the union. The woman was taken to the hospital after consuming pesticide while the man tried to kill himself by consuming the same pesticide when he visited her. Both the families gave consent after the suicide attempt.
