The number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 71,75,880 as 55,342 people tested positive in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The coronavirus death toll in the country has risen to 1,09,856, while 62,27,295 coronavirus patients have been discharged. Out of the total cases, 8,38,729 are active.
