After a newspaper article claimed that the COVID-19 tracker app 'Aarogya Setu' is a surveillance app, government agency Press Information Bureau (PIB) refuted the claim. "This is baseless, the app does not link user location & data with any sensitive personal data," PIB tweeted. "Also, it does not make users vulnerable to hacking," it added.
