Daimler faces $4.4 bn fine over diesel emissions: Report

German automotive giant Daimler is reportedly facing a $4.4-billion fine from the country's transport ministry over a diesel emissions scandal. Reports further claimed that a total of 750,000 Mercedes vehicles could be affected. The carmaker and the transport ministry has agreed to clear the technical issues related to diesel emissions, a spokesperson for the ministry said in an email.
