The death toll in the twin hooch tragedies in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand has risen to 108, with many people still recovering at hospitals, officials have said. The victims from UP had visited Uttarakhand for a funeral after which they consumed hooch (liquor) which was poisonous. Uttar Pradesh has constituted a special investigation team to probe the deaths.
