Delhi government has extended the validity of existing licences of retail liquor vends till July 31 over a potential delay in approval of Excise Policy 2022-23, an excise department order stated. The policy has not yet gotten Delhi Lieutenant Governor's approval. Retail liquor vends will have to pay the licence fee for the extended period, the order further stated.
