Truck driver Maurice Robinson has pleaded guilty to 39 counts of manslaughter in the case related to the deaths of Vietnamese people in a refrigerated container found in the UK last year. Co-defendant Gheorghe Nica pleaded not guilty to the same offences. Autopsies had concluded that all the victims died from asphyxia and hyperthermia.
